The cup is formed by a pair of bat wings sweeping upward from the bowl, membrane-detailed and fully rendered, curving outward at the rim like something mid-flight frozen in filament. Look down into it and the interior glows a deep, saturated red — a deliberate contrast to the dark charcoal exterior, visible from above when a candle is lit inside and casting ember light back up through the wing membrane.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeneath the cup, an open Gothic tracery section reveals that same red layer through teardrop and flame-shaped cutwork — the colour bleeds through at the stem junction, as though the heat of whatever burns inside is leaking out. A carved rose collar sits at the top of the stem, where ornate detail transitions into a tall segmented column. The base is broad and four-lobed, engraved with medallion roundels, Gothic diamond motifs, and a bat silhouette worked into the face — heavy enough to anchor the piece, detailed enough to hold attention from any angle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDesigned to hold a standard votive glass or tealight holder (not included).
