The Grumpy Kitty Planter is not a passive piece of décor. Squat, round, and thoroughly unimpressed, this character planter sits with paws planted firmly on the table and eyes that physically shift depending on how full the inner pot is. When the water runs low, those weighted eye discs rotate — the gaze drops, the expression darkens, and the message is unmistakable. You have been found wanting.

The design is deceptively engineered. Inside the cat shell sits a separate removable inner pot with drainage holes, keeping your plant healthy and your soil where it belongs. The eyes are independently printed discs mounted on a linked pivot mechanism — no electronics, no batteries, just clever mechanical design that responds to the weight of water. The outer body is finished in a smooth matte grey, with softly rounded ears, stubby paws, a curling tail at the back, and that permanent expression of low-level contempt that cat owners will find entirely familiar.

Works as a windowsill planter, a desk companion, or the most passive-aggressive plant pot you've ever owned. Best suited to compact plants — succulents, African violets, or anything else with the good sense to stay small.
