The sea doesn't just sink ships. Sometimes it swallows them whole.

Half-submerged and still splintering, the wreck juts from the tabletop like the last gasp of a doomed voyage — planking torn open, mast shards driven skyward, the wood itself caught mid-collapse. And rising from the wreckage, patient and immense, the kraken watches. One great eye tracks the table. Coiled tentacles grip the ruined hull as if they've always belonged there, as if the ship was never really a ship at all — just bait.

This is the kind of piece that stops a session in its tracks the moment it's set down. Built as a true centerpiece, Kraken Ambush is designed for the encounters your players will still be talking about after the campaign ends — an ambush at sea, a cursed cove, a shrine to something that shouldn't be worshipped.
