Beneath the Ironworks of Aurumdell, in vaults sealed with iron and silence, the Golden Strider Golems stand waiting. They are not machines in the way the drones are machines — they are something older, something heavier. Inside each one, bound into the steel and smoke of its construction, is the soul of a soldier who once swore to serve until the end. The forge masters took that oath literally. The command word wakes them. Nothing else does. And when they wake, they remember exactly what they were built to do.

This resin miniature is a statement piece — a hulking, gorilla-shouldered golem that fills its base with raw mechanical mass. The spherical torso is dominated by a recessed skull face, staring from behind its armoured housing with the quiet certainty of something that has already won. Three exhaust stacks rise from the crown, wide crescent pauldrons sweep the shoulders, and two enormous claw-hands hang low and ready — the left braced, the right extended, as if measuring the distance to the next thing it intends to crush.

Every surface rewards the painter: the panel lines and rivet rows beg for washes, the skull centrepiece invites spot colour, and the exhaust stacks are perfect for NMM or heat-scorched metallics. As the painted studio example shows, the Golden Strider comes alive with teal verdigris, burnished copper, and rust-bitten weathering — a monument to industrial age decay and the soldiers who never got to stop fighting.
